How can I take part?
All of our organised events have now taken place, and registration to organise your own has also closed.
Please keep checking back to see what's happening next year or sign up to our newsletter to get regular updates!
Can children take part?
Absolutely! You can organise your own ride suitable for children and set them their own challenge, such as a lap round the local park. Help them to raise money through friends and family.
Can I take part in a group?
Of course! You can organise a ride for your friends, family and colleagues to join in. You can set up your own event page on our website and use our email a friend tool to invite them along.
Can I take part on a motorbike or at the gym?
If you don't have a bike, get yourself down to the gym for a static bike race or spin class challenge, or take to the roads on a motorbike challenge.
How can I raise money?
We got plenty of fundraising tips to help you. Sponsorship is the best way to raise money for your BIG BIKE RIDE. A quick and easy way is to set up your own JustGiving page in just a few minutes or download a sponsorship form.
What will the money do?
By raising money as part of this year's BIG BIKE RIDE you can make a huge difference to the lives of desperate children in need of support.
The money raised from this year's BIG BIKE RIDE is going directly to support the NSPCC's Child's Voice Appeal.
Find out more in our raising money section or on the NSPCC's main website.
How much do I need to raise?
We hope you don't mind but we wanted to ask you to set yourself a sponsorship target as this is how the BIG BIKE RIDE will raise vital funds to help our Child's Voice Appeal achieve its vision of answering every child's call.
If you're attending one of our BIG ONEs, we suggest you aim for around £250. If you think you can raise even more than this then go for it!
If you're organising your own bike ride then plan your challenge to enable you to collect the most sponsorship from your event. Remember, for every £100 you raise you will enable ChildLine to answer an extra 25 calls from children whose cries for help currently go unheard.
Whatever you plan to raise, we've got plenty of fundraising tips to help you reach and exceed your target!
When do I have to send in my money?
Please send your sponsorship within eight weeks of the event so that we can start telling everyone how much we've raised from the event as soon as possible. Please send all sponsorship to: NSPCC BIG BIKE RIDE, PO box 4141, Bracknell, RG42 9HQ.
