What is the BIG BIKE RIDE?
This year is the fifth birthday of the NSPCC's BIG BIKE RIDE, a cycling challenge that gets people from all across the UK to organise a bike ride, get on their bikes and get geared up to change children’s lives. You can help us celebrate by making it bigger and better than ever. Find out more.
Why the BIG BIKE RIDE?
Since our first BIG BIKE RIDE, over 10,000 people have got on their saddle and raised over £600,000 to help end cruelty to children in the UK.
In 2009, our merry band of cycling heroes raised more than £250,000 to help the NSPCC’s Child’s Voice Appeal. Just check out the pedal power on display in Sussex last year.
Get on your BIKE
This September we want even more people to get on their bikes, so we’ve got some great ideas for cycle challenges that you can easily organise with your friends and family. There are also a host of local BIG BIKE RIDEs across the UK.
Ready to ride? Then take a look at our ideas for your cycling challenge.
